We walked in around 11am and were greeted by the friendly hostess. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homey, we just knew the food was going to be good! There were 2-3 families already eating in the restaurant but by the time we left it was PACKED and for a good reason. The house special spring rolls are very unique, the veggies were of the best quality. The pho here is very hearty and clean, it was the perfect balance to our meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the noodles are they were springy and cooked perfectly. And my favorite has to be the banh bot loc, it did come out last but was so delicious. I'm not a fan of eating shrimp skin but in the dish it actually compliments well. Would definitely come back and will recommend to everyone!

If you're looking for an amazing spring roll. You must try the Nem Nuong Cuon. Oh soo good!

Updated review as of 08/2024: Still like to come to this place whenever I'm in Sac. Their nem nuong cuon is still good as I remember. If you want to order a party tray of the cuon, it's $61 for 20 pieces. If you want it cut in half, extra $5 which I chose not to do. They also are able to sell the fried eggroll pieces at 40 cents a pop (uncooked or cooked). Customer service is average for an asian restaurant.

I recently ordered nem nuong cuon. The crispy rolls provided were really good, providing a crispy contrast to the tender grilled pork. Service was quick when I needed it to be. What truly elevated the dish was the incredible sauce. It was a rich, savory peanut sauce with that perfectly complemented the smoky, slightly sweet pork. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up eating the entire bowl of sauce. Each bite dipped in that sauce was amazing. It made the meal incredibly satisfying.

Food: I loved the deconstructed summer rolls. We opted for BBQ chicken. I love that you can choose a different kind of protein. We also had the Bahn Beo and the House Fried Rice. Bahn Beo was good. I especially loved the in-house sauce on top of it. I haven't had this since I went to Vietnam in 2006. Their fried rice was hella good. I'm not a fried rice person but I loved the way the fried rice had a charred or is it a grilled flavor. Maybe I mean a roasted flavor. All I know , is it was very good. Ambiance and Service : nothing special about the ambiance but it was clean. It's casual dining. The service was great. They were friendly and everything came out quickly.

I love their nem nuong rolls! I always try to check out one of their location whenever I pass by the Sac/Elk Grove area. The prices are affordable and the food is authentic and delicious, and the portions are nice as well. We always get an order of their nem nuong rolls which comes with 4 fat rolls and a sauce container (plenty of sauce for 4 rolls). I also got their vemicelli noodles with the pork sausage and crispy wraps. Total came out to about $30 incl tax, which is a pretty good price for a meal that feeds about 1.5 persons. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The only downside is due to the strong heat in the area, you'll see dead bugs around the plaza and parking lot. Kind of gross when you're trying to get food. The inside is well AC and service was fast. I got my food to go within 20 minutes. The rolls are nicely wrapped and good portion. The vermicelli noodles came with lots of portion, it fed me nearly two meals! I'd love to come back and try more items next time. My only regret is not getting a container of their chili paste/sauce to go.

Best spring rolls (#2) in all of sac. Great sauce. The chili pepper/oil is super spicy so be careful when using! Service is fast. Can get crowded sometimes. Just a normal mom and pops kind of vibe. Once again, best charbroiled pork spring rolls in all of sac, BY FAR.
